Bayern Munich Wins UEFA Champions League Final
FC Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League final on Sunday night, claiming their sixth European title.
Kingsley Coman scored the only goal of the game in the 59th minute, heading home from close range after Joshua Kimmich's cross from the right wing.
Bayern dominated the match from start to finish, but PSG had a few good chances to equalize. Neymar Jr. had a free-kick saved by Manuel Neuer in the first half, while Kylian Mbappé missed a good chance late in the second half.
Bayern's victory gives them their second treble of the season, having already won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. It also marks the first time that a team has won the Champions League, Bundesliga, and DFB-Pokal in the same season since Bayern Munich did it in 2013.
PSG will be disappointed to have lost the final, but they can be proud of their performance in the Champions League this season. They reached the final for the first time in their history, and they gave Bayern a tough game.
