NRL in Brisbane

Broncos have launched their Indigenous Round in the heart of Brisbane, with a moving ceremony that celebrated the city's rich Indigenous culture.

The event was held at Musgrave Park in South Brisbane, and was attended by Broncos players, staff and fans, as well as representatives from the local Indigenous community.

Broncos captain Darius Boyd said the event was a great way to celebrate Indigenous culture and to show the club's support for the community.

"It's important for us as a club to be part of this community and to support the Indigenous culture," Boyd said.

"We have a lot of Indigenous players in our team and we're proud to have them as part of our club."

The Broncos will wear a special Indigenous jersey in their Round 12 match against the Titans at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.

The jersey was designed by Indigenous artist Dennis Nona, and features the colors of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags.

The Broncos are hoping to raise $100,000 for the Indigenous community through the sale of the jerseys.

The money will be used to support a range of Indigenous programs, including education, health and employment.
